The Fort Wayne Historical Railroad Society

The Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society is home to steam locomotive 765 which has operated excursions throughout the midwest. The Society's collection includes a smaller switching steam locomotive, two wooden cabooses, a 200 ton wrecker, a diesel locomotive and other historic railroad equipment.  The Society is open most Saturdays. Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum 

This classic car museum, formerly the Auburn Automobile Factory showroom, houses nearly 150 makes of luxury and classic cars from the late 19th century. The Cords, Auburns and Duesenbergs, famous luxury cars, made their mark on the automotive industry in the '20's and '30's and are featured daily. It is located in Auburn, Indiana (about 25 minutes north of fort Wayne) at 1600 South Wayne.  Call 260-925-1444.   Hours: 10 am - 7 pm Friday & 10 am-5 pm Saturday & Sunday.   Admission is adults $12.50, children 5-18 $7.50 and under 5 free.
