What is the A.C.A.R.T.S.?
The Allen County Amateur Radio Technical Society, or ACARTS, was formed in
1967 to serve the greater Allen County, Indiana area with an amateur radio
organization dedicated to the technical aspects of the hobby. The organization
was incorporated into a non-profit entity in 1971. You can check out the clubs history in detail if you like. Today, the ACARTS has
more than 100 members, and is an American Radio Relay League (ARRL)
affiliated Club.

- ACARTS operates the following repeater/simplex systems, which are open to
all licensed amateurs (click on the frequency

- - ACARTS publishes a monthly newsletter on events of the club and the
local ham community,
- and offers assistance to local hams and interested
parties with their communications or
electronics related questions or
problems.

You can drop by our monthly general meeting
(see what this month's meeting is all about), which is normally on the third
Tuesday of the month at the Red Cross Center, 1212 E California Road, Fort Wayne. Map
Finally, we have a membership
application (print from

version) available if you are interested in joining ACARTS. Dues
are only $12 per year.
